Hi, I’m Jamie Giera. I help nonprofits and school districts manage, maintain, and improve websites so they stay accessible, reliable, and effective for the people who use them.
With over a decade of experience managing complex websites, leading accessibility initiatives, and optimizing content for usability and performance, I specialize in long-term website care. My work focuses on ongoing maintenance, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, content cleanup, and data-informed improvements that keep sites working well over time, not just at launch.
I also partner with organizations during website redesigns. Schools and nonprofits often struggle to navigate agency relationships, define requirements, and translate internal needs into clear direction. I serve as the bridge between organizations and designers or vendors by gathering requirements, creating wireframes, reviewing work for usability and accessibility, and helping reduce miscommunication throughout the process. The goal is a smoother project and a website teams can actually manage after launch.
I’ve worked across public schools, national nonprofits, associations, and small businesses, helping teams build sustainable systems, train staff, and future-proof their digital presence. I’m often brought in when a site feels overwhelming, ownership is unclear, or accessibility and maintenance have become pain points.
Above all, I believe the web should be usable and accessible for everyone, and that good websites are built through care, consistency, and collaboration.
Below are highlights of my work and the types of projects I support.
Send me a message and I’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days.
