Landing Page

The Challenge

The district needed a dedicated landing page for its 2025 Bond Proposal that was clean, accessible, and community-friendly. Its existing materials were dense and document-heavy, and the district needed a digital experience that informed residents without overwhelming them with legalese or long PDFs.

What I Did

Designed and built a dedicated bond landing page within the district’s existing CMS (Apptegy/Thrillshare). Broke dense content into digestible sections covering the project overview, proposed improvements, tax impact, FAQs, and timeline. Used accordion modules for long-form content to keep the layout clean and scannable. Linked directly to PDFs while also summarizing their contents in plain language so residents had options for how to engage with the information. Ensured the page passed accessibility checks using WAVE and manual screen reader testing, and optimized structure and metadata for search and community sharing. Built the page to allow for easy updates and document additions as the campaign progressed.

The Outcome

The district had a high-visibility, community-facing page that delivered clear, confident information ahead of the bond vote. Residents could scan key details quickly, access supporting documents, and find answers to common questions without wading through dense legal language.
